About JC Evans Law

Our law firm represents people or businesses who have been injured or defrauded.

We get results for our clients.
We do this by recognizing that there are no short cuts. To maximize recovery, each case must be prepared as if it’s going to trial, even though few cases ever reach the trial stage. Each and every case is personally reviewed. If we are unable to accept your case, a detailed explanation will be provided as to why we cannot represent you. In many cases we will have hired experts to assist us in the evaluation process. We advance the costs necessary to effectively prosecute your case. In most cases, our fees are based upon a percentage of the recovery. If there is no recovery, there is no attorney fee. If you have retained us to work on an hourly basis, you will know that in advance. We always keep you advised of what is going on in your case.

We have decades of experience and have tried cases throughout the United States, before Judges, Juries, Special Masters, Arbitrators and Military Tribunals. We try our own cases and have been called upon to assist other attorneys in the trial of their cases. We have prepared cases that did not go to trial in virtually every county in western Pennsylvania, the various federal districts throughout the United States and in several of the United States Courts of Appeals.

We enjoy a reputation within the legal community that is commensurate with our ability and the results that we have obtained for our clients. We have obtained multi-million dollar recoveries in dangerous drug cases, aviation disasters, personal injury cases, anti-trust cases and consumer fraud cases. Both the firm and its predecessor, Specter Specter Evans and Manogue, P.C., as well as its attorneys have been appointed by various courts to leadership positions in consolidated national and class action litigations.
